Junior Membership
Anyone under the age of 16 can apply for junior membership. This account provides a great start for any child, and pays out a dividend of up to 4% every year. A parent or guardian must open the account with the child, and provide identification in the form of the child's birth certificate. The parent/guardian will be responsible for the account until the child turns 16, and will automatically qualify for a senior membership.
Download the junior membership form here or call us and we will post a form out to you.
School Bank service
We run a school bank service in local primary schools - Langide, Shawlands, Darnley and St Angela's - on a weekly basis. The bank is run with the help of school bank volunteers from P6 and P7 classes in the schools and adult volunteers and PTA members from the local community. A School Bank membership is the same as a Junior account with Pollok Credit Union, the difference being that the Banks are convenient and an easier way for children to save as they are int heir local school. Call us for further information or if you would like to speak about opening a bank in your child's school.
